This page is for miscellaneous perennials, including bulbs, that I do not have a page dedicated to. The bloom times listed span from the earliest the individual plant has begun to bloom through the latest it has continued to bloom in my garden; it does not necessarily bloom the entire time. Though I occasionally allow a few seed-heads to form, deadheading (removing spent blooms) prolongs blooming and uses less of the plant's store of energy. In propagating perennials from seed, many require stratification (a cold period); winter seed starting is generally effective.
